"Did We Count Nature In?", an international interdisciplinary scientific students' conference, will be held on 6th - 9th of May 2005, in the town of Liepaja, Latvia.

The aims of the conference are:

  1. To unite students to discuss the interaction between humans and nature.
  2. To establish and develop collaboration and polemics between students of different departments.
  3. To form discussion that extends the knowledge of each and every student.
  4. To promote students' interest in representing their own view and expressing it in public.
  5. To facilitate students' involvement in examining a specific problem in detail.
  6. To collaborate with experts in discussing the issue.

We are planning to have four sections of presentations:

You are welcome to present your scientific project, paper or report. The presentation should last about 15 minutes. The deadline of registration is 1st of April.

The conference fee is 5 LVL (7 EUR) for participants with a presentation or report, and 8 LVL (11 EUR) for others.

Organizers will provide the accommodation and food during the conference. The official language of the conference is English. After the conference every student will receive a certificate of participation.
